ABOUT THE AUTHOR

This love of history started as a childhood passion in my small home town. My fascination with the American West was probably the result of the "Big Screen". World War II gripped me as a result of my parents’ involvement, no doubt, and the Cold War because along with everyone else I ducked underneath my desk or knelt in the hall, believing if I covered my head I would survive the nuclear onslaught promised by the "Evil Empire".

I started writing as a sideline while working on a remote construction camp in my mid-20s. At the time, there was no beer and no women. Writing filled the void between work, sleep, and staring at the desert. The result was my first Western, "Double-Barreled Law", followed shortly thereafter with my second Western, "To Die A Branded Man". Since the sale of my first two novels, writing became a hobby. You know, starving writer needs money…but they are a slice of Americana. A third Western, "Bloody Sierras", is coming soon.

"THE RAT LINE" and its series are a culmination of world travel. I saw and "felt" the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz, and took an un-sponsored trip behind the "Iron Curtain". During these travels, I met players in the largest conflict man has ever known, from death camp survivors to Albert Speer, Arms Minister for Hitler, to intelligence officers on both the Allied and Axis sides. I have refined it from its original release, and have completed the first year of a television series with a co-writer and we are seeking suitors in the television industry.

Please join me in the world of deceit, intrigue, intelligence, treachery and murder as the heroes and villains struggle through their battles of righteousness, be they good or evil from our personal perspective, to mold the post-war-world through the next six decades of the series
.

"Many more would die on this hallowed ground before civilization ended. Germany was a place for death. Always had been, always would be."

"Death, please take me, she prayed in silence. Take away evil’s tyranny over my soul. Take this bastard child! The abyss opened to the blue above and a life sought after death appeared…"
